We are proud to announce to be part of the upcoming ORWOhaus Festival at 06.07.2012 and 07.07.2012. There will be an wellenbad stage with a eight speakersetup for live konzerts.

Beside of a bunch of live bands (till now: From The Studio, Roads To Multiverse, The Magic Touch, 4 Axid Butchers (I)) there will geonna be payed multichannel surround music over the nights.

Das Umklang Tonsystem war erneut zu Gast auf der Fusion 2011 im wundervollen Casino Hangar. An zwei Abenden gab es verschiedene Acts auf einem Soundsystem mit 10 kreisförmig angeordneten Lautsprechern zu hören. Mit dabei waren OINQK, Quaste, Bassstapler, das Umklang Klassik Dj Team, das Transistor DJ Team und die Lichtpiraten an den Visuals. Wir sagen DANKE, es war wirklich schön!

Das GRANdE MASSIFE Festival findet dieses Jahr erstmals auf dem weit aus größeren ehem. Truppenübungsgelände B05 statt. Der Zukunftsmusik e.V. stellt Studio Erde am 18.06.2001 ein Werkstattgebäude im Zentralbereich des Festivals Geländes als Surround-Location zu Verfügung. Mit dabei sind beim “Umklang Tonsystem” Quaste, Mehrfachtabulator, OINQK, Bassstapler u.v.m..

Auf dem dem diesjährigen ORWOhaus Festival präsentieren wir am Samstag den 24.07.2010 eine ganze Surround Bühne, die in einem eigens dafür aufgebauten großen Zirkuszelt aufgebaut wird. Dabei werden 8 Lautsprecher angesteuert, die im Kreis um die Zuschauermenge aufgebaut sind. Mit dabei sind u.a. Lex Parka und Rico Loop.

Lasse Schwank von sugarcandymountain (SCM) und Studio Erde haben gemeinsam den technischen und künstlerischen Background entwickelt, um Bands auf einem Ring von acht Lautsprechern live und vor Ort zu mischen. Im Casino Hangar gibt es dieses Jahr in der Zeit vom 24.06.2010 bis zum 27.06.2010 auf dem Fusion-Festival daher fünf echte Mehrkanal-Live-Konzerte, und zwar von Steyer & Scharnowske, Royal Chord, Brass Wood ‘n Wires, Rico Loop und OINQK.

Am 26.06.2009 findet unser erstes Merkanal-DJ Set auf dem Fusion Festival 2009 statt. Mit unserem experimentellen 6-Kanal Surround-System haben wir Musik rund um Studio Erde in den letzen Monaten für die Wiedergabe auf 6 Lautsprechern gemischt. Diese präsentieren wir Tracks innerhalb unseres Dj-Sets Samstag Nacht im Casino-Hangar. Mit dabei sind Tracks von Brass Wood ‘n Wires, SugarCandyMontain, LAN, OINQK, Swingkiller u.v.m..

Wir haben kürzlich im Studio eine Mehrkanal-Anlage mit einem Ring aus sechs Lautsprechern von ME-Geithain eingerichtet. Wir wenden dabei keines der gängigen Kinoformate an sondern experimentieren an einer Lösung, die ohne eine feste Blickrichtung der Zuschauer auf die Leinwand funktioniert. Ziel ist es Musik auf Partys, Festivals oder bei Ausstellungen und Installationen auf Anlagen mit vielen Lautsprechern zu präsentieren.
